Leakage relay alarm (CP-tronic Display splash screen freezes)

I never tried to do hard-reset. So I am a little scared because of unknown pitfalls.
But now I know from you that machine SHOULD BE IN STREIGHT MODE. And jumpers must be placed on 9-10 and 11-12 pins. Then I should .
Hello Dear Friend
As Adil already said this is not a complicated process. But you should take a little bite attention to do step by step = To put your Press at straight mode. While machine is ON just make sure that manually your press is on straight mode if not so then for this purpose you have to check all mechanic signs and symbols for this purpose, if you don't know read the manual or it is better to talk with a local expert operator as well. there is a hole on machine that while it be at mechanical ZERO position, you can penetrate an allen-key number 3 or 4 inside this hole as a mechanical sign which means it's on Mechanical ZERO position = Straight mode.
sometimes you need to remove the hydraulic pressure from the drum by manually actuating two hydraulic valves meanwhile you're doing this "return to zero position" that finally you be sure it is on ZERO position,Mechanically. THEN:
  1. Then, switch off the press, connect two jumpers on slot x11. 9-10 & 11-12) .
  2. SWitch-ON the press after that switching on, you wait until you see the desk display panel(screen) returns to its main-page. should be taken less then 2 or three3 minutes. it should be like (Ready to Work).
  3. Again Switch-off and remove the Jumpers.
  4. Switch-ON the press again.
  5. Finish.
if it has been done correctly, you need to set all the settings after that, all the operation settings go back to zero.

That's all.
Wish you a great GOOD-LUCK
Best Regards,

  • That s true but you should push the emergency stop before switching off the machine , then do the reset
If the machine is not on the straight mode you should do this operation manually , Remove the drive pignon from the format adjustment crown (the pignon is located below the grouping cylinder on the drive side)
then position the crown as already mentioned with a 4 mm round axe

Today I am tried to switch machine to straight mode. And got stuck here.
Here is the picture from display for more easy explanation.
    upload_2025-5-19_23-29-19.png

    1. I activated Hold Pin (point 1) and rotaded the machine in position where pin should fit hole of gear.
    2. Then I disengaged oil-clutch (point 2) and started rotate machine to it's streight-mode direction.
    3. When I have meet max size on size indicator (about 370mm) mechanizm have meet into something. At this point initial hole of zero positon was far from pair hole at machine frame.
    4. I have called to one advanced gay and hi told me that there is missaligning between "sector gear plate" (big wheel near by storge drum) and another gears.
Looks like it was my mistake. I tried to rotate it to position to be near to frame hole by disabling Hold Pin (point 1). After some movement I tried to move the machine to test if it's going well. But no. At some point mechanizm became meet something. I checked whatever I can see, but couldn't found where is the collision.
What I found is that the Hold Pin (point 1) can't fit in it's hole on gear any more. And if machine at it's utmost position (where it meet something) Hold Pin couldn't move at all. So I think that the reason is some thing around Hold Pin.

    Please, any advise guys.

    Hello Friend,
To set the machine at straight mode: I repeat again: This is a mechanical (manual) act. Also there is Pedestal (at drive-side, under the cover frame) which is using by foot to disengage the main motor brake, while you are rotating the machine. that MUST be used in this process (at some steps of one-by-one steps), because when machine is NOT rotating by its drive, this brake is ENGAGED! I didn't see if you mentioned at your message as well. Any way as I said it needs to get help from some one who has been already trained and know all details, such as a professional operator or a Mechanic guy.
Maybe you used this brake-Pedestal. (if you approach the main motor from the delivery sight, you would see a yellow-color covered cable that is connected to motor. )
I strongly recommend you to assist this work by an expert local person (either an operator OR a Mechanic). this is not what you yourself could do it. (OR read the maniall if you have).
    Take Care.

Ok. There is security pin in the back side of this gear

wich don't allow rotate a machine if scale out of max size.
    Just returned to legal size.

Hello everybody. Thank you for your time who spend on this thread. Especialy to @Andy muller10 and @Adil.
Problem solved by "hard reset" as you guys recommend me. As I wrote before I was stacking in switch machine to streight mode.
I just tryed switch to streight mode againg:
    1. Activated hook
    upload_2025-5-30_11-25-57.png

    2. Rotated machine to 79.5degree (zero position), Here Hook inserting to its place.
    upload_2025-5-30_12-2-9.png

    3. Activated 90 bar line to release hydraulic clutches.
    upload_2025-5-30_12-14-30.png

    4. Rotated machine to streight position by Red T-key
    upload_2025-5-30_12-23-9.png

    5. Checked zero position of sector gear by "checking hole"

    Done.

Thank you for this helpful Notes. Great tutorial documentary

Be aware of the following issues:
The order values, e.g. percentage values for dampening, setting of the wash program and the air at the suction belts on the feeder are lost with a UR-INIT. The variant key may also be deleted.
The order values and the variant key should therefore be noted before the UR-INIT.

    Hello Joe
As you have seen, this thread would be a good informative thread and could be a good reference for the the others who may be faced with this problem any how. in the other word: this is the thing that all Heidelberg users should know and how to handle the problem.
So hereby very kindly put your valuable information with further details (such as photos, etc.).

    Best regards,

In my opinion not all Heidelberg users should know how to handle this kind of problem. Thank you for your message. But this type of RESET on a machine should always be carried out by qualified personnel and not by unskilled workers. Too many things can go wrong with this. Know-how from specialists is rarely available for ‘free’ because we all want to earn money.

  • Hello Dear fellows, Joe and Junker
I agree with you friends, I as an electronic technician who earns money from technical support. But I would like to say most of participated people here in this forum, are the valuable Senior Electronic Engineers/Technicians, and the owners of printing halls are not enough expertized at any complicated technical field or even they don't know such this forum exists, at all. I am looking at the issue from this viewpoint that we should help to each other and spread the knowledge somehow. Thank you very much for your patience and reading this final article. God almighty bless you and give you best prosperity more than what you deserve it.
    Best regards,
    Andy
