The site does not want to be in any way involved with any activity that is in any way illegal.
To reiterate once again, please do not post anything on the site or via PM or Conversation or in any way use the site for any activity that would break the law.
It's important to maintain the site as a place where people can enjoy discussion, sharing their experience and knowledge. When there is a legal, legitimate source for a manual, it's fine to point someone to that legal and legitimate source for information. But the site should never be used to promote or sell anything that's not legal to sell.
It's also important to maintain a place where people can enjoy sharing knowledge and helping one another. When a problem is so complicated that an on-site visit is required, or many hours of consultation is necessary, where someone asks "where can I find a technician to help with this in abc location?" it's not a problem to suggest someone to contact or consider hiring. If you provide help that can be provided on the site freely and legally, it's even ok to have a one-line signature in your profile to include the name of your company that can be hired to provide additional services when they are needed, so long as such is fully legal of course. But at the same time, we probably need to go back to the original rule that replies should be substantive to the thread at hand. There have been a couple complaints now about replies that are just "email me for help" which make the thread not a "good read" for others who are looking for help or who would otherwise be willing to share their help with the issue at hand. With that said, the many replies which address the question at hand on the forum with personal experience and knowledge are greatly appreciated.
