hello sir. i have the same issue as this error. p-err
i have replace the battery because it was dead no power and i still have "p err" displayed on screen.
i tried this code showned on image you send it but is still the same.
any idea what the foult is or does have any resseting code
id be greatfull.

I lost parameters from our machine, Is it possible to get instructions how to feed parameters to the machine?

First and foremost, Check for proper grease on the leadscrew and backgauge guide. You want to use a light weight lithium based greased. White Lithium is what I recommend.
Make sure the fingers of the backgauge arent dragging. Sometimes decri builds up under them.
All that checked and corrected then you will need to set a parameter.
Locate a small hole above the memory buttons. There is a switch that can be pressed through that hole. That is your SERVICE BUTTON.
You will need to start by pressing P, do this more than once to make sure you are in the main start up screen. Then push SERVICE BUTTON and C at the same time, then press C by itsself, then type in code 2412 then press MEMORY then SERVICE BUTTON and 0 at the same time. This shoud bring up a special screen. Change the parameter highlighted by pressing C then keying in your new value then MEMORY.
The list of parameters should be in your manual. If they are incorrect or showing weird letters, you will need to change them all. Press SERVICE BUTTON and the parameter number you need to change to move the cursor.

didn’t work for our machine, might different type
Wahlenberg than ours. Service button is next to screen ( at the other side than memory buttons).

I dont know what system your machine has without seeing a picture. I might be able to help if you show me.

It has been decades since I have seen an SPM, let alone one working. The switch is inside that panel, behind the button area.
