Hi everyone,
I found a machine Ryobi 3302 HA (2002) in nice condition and fit to my budget.
I really want to have a offset machine for my jobs full colors.
Please if any one can tell me if i can easily make my 4 colors on this press.
if the registration is good enough, if any one here has made 4C on this press.

Thanks in advance.

  • 3302 is very reliable if you take care of it. The registration is great I run 4 color env on mine all the time

Hi Ziggy33 and thank you for your replay...
Please, what do you mean by 4 color env?
Can you tell me what is the maximum weight for the paper (300 gsm ... ?)?
I found one in england for about 4600 £, what do you think?

    Thank you.

if you run small area pictures this is the machine for you, however if you run large pictures you need to expect a slight moire through your stack of printed material. If you have the time to perfect your registration you could get rid of the moire , and it will be a great press for you. If you intend on changing size stock all the time , this press could be more of a headache. Spot color close registration work is really what this press is best at doing.

  • I run 4 color process on #10 envelopes, then on 11" by 17" then 8.5" by 11" I have no problems setting up my registration from size to size it all depends on how good you are at checking and making everything perfect! I always run 50 thru then back thru to make sure my registration is perfect. I run large pictures(even multiple pictures) on mine all the time idk what your saying bill, maybe the unexperienced pressman might have that but they shouldn't be trying to run 4 color yet anyways till they learn their press

4 color shouldn't be much of a problem. Used to run it on stock 3302 with Kompacs all the time. Can be difficult at times with registration but not impossible. If i'm not mistaken if its a 3302 HA, that comes with the console and simi auto plate loaders. If so the problem with plate stretch and registration should be minimal. I'm currently on a 3304 HA and love it. the clamps on the press with plate loaders are much more precise as far as tension on the plates. (we run 8mil poly). Make it easy and get the optical plate punch and use it, its the key to quick registration.
