A1 upper is mad at me.

I cannot program any papers into. Always give me errors-any size. Sensor outta whack?

ideas? came on when reloading previously loaded paper(no change at the time) but now none work.

rebooting now(duh, not sure why I just thought of this)

  • Does it try to feed the paper or does it say mismatch when the tray raises? If paper tries to feed and then mismatch, transport rollers are going. If not, then it's the sensors on the paper holders that cause the error.

never even raises. clicks like its going to raise, then just clicks again, and opens drawer.

still doing it. going to try to figure it out today.....

If it never raises then it doesn't think your paper arms are set right. Either the sensors there are malfunctioning or the paper size in the stock database doesn't match what you have in the feeder.

    yep malfunction. :)

Its paper I was already using. Dropped to re-load, and errored....

  • no change.

havent done anything about it yet. been slow, and im lazy. had some time off too.

Interestingly, when I rebooted, neither A drawer would come up at all. had to reboot again.

update: this was solved by reseating ribbon cable on one of the boards. BUT... another problem was lurking. No blower.

blower replaced, boards swapped. finally. found pinched wire to board for blower.

weird. I have all 4 drawers for the first time in well over a year lol
