Poorly adjusted water rollers or a loose magnet in the motor. In very rare cases, a damaged motor speed sensor.

    Dear Drukman

Are you talking about the M101 engine (photos in the attachment)?

This is the motor. The sensor and magnet are under the top (pictured) cover.

    Thx !
I'll try to change this motor between the section 2 and other one.
If the problem with this motor - the error will be at other DW.

I think this is an easiest way ;)

The last possibility is a bad dampening solution level sensor. The rollers stay dry, rev up and ....break down.....

You have to open the motor in the back you will find a hall sensor effect

    Hello !
    The situation looks so:
    1. I replaced the motors between section 2 and 4 (with magnet and speed sensor)
    2. I replaced the dampening solution level sensor between section 2 and 4
If they are defective, a DW4 error should appear.
But there is'nt any effects - the error is same (DW 2).
This error occurs sometimes. Everything worked fine for a few days, but today the error DW2 appeared again.

What else could be causing this error (besides the motor and the sensor) ?

You have no many options. You can try change the driver to another unit . Let us know

You must have in slot 8-9 two pcb. d/a converter . You can try replace it by another unit too. In some cases thoses fail.

    Thanks. I'll try it.
Also I found the next block -A397 on a board -A383 (see the attachment). It transfer the signal from the dampening solution level sensor to card in slot 7. I'll try to replace them also

Thank you very much for your help.
At first I replaced the motor and the sensor.
Yesterday I replaced input card 7, DA converters 8 and 9, -A397 and -A383 but unfortunately got no results :( - there was alarm according DW2 again. (in the attachment).
The water level completely covers the sensor during operation and when stopped as well as on other sections.

Maybe I missed something, but I don't know where to look next.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'll be very grateful for your help !

The last possibility is a problem in the inverter. Change it.

what is the current error status?
Send a picture of errors screen .
You have two post opened I think prozess-bus error is first. Send a picture of status of moeller fiber optic equipment in RCI. The stus is green ? Both modules ? You have two . Inside they have a battery each one (tadiran ). Have you ever replaced it?

At the moment Roland is in normal working order. These errors are not stable. They occur unpredictably. I need to catch the moment of error and the status of the fiber optic equipment. Then I will send those photos.
According to the batteries - I personally did not change them. Unfortunately, I do not know what was done before me.
I am not a certified specialist of printing equipment. My main specialization is tobacco products (electrical part of Focke and Hauni Protos). This company asked me to help them because they does not have a permanent electrician (there is a critical shortage of people - many were taken to war with Russia).

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi !
Today the errors with Prozess-Bus occurred again.
There are a pictures of errors screen (prozess-bus) and status of moeller fiber optic equipment in the attachment.
According a battery - all ok.

  • Fiber оptic problem. Loop not ready. Or an I/O module.
    Or wrong resistors.

    Hi !
I have a Service Training Elektronic .pdf file (Communication system).
As I understand - I need a service set for testing fiber optic cable, SPS Loop and Process Loop.
Were can we buy it and what price ?

"Or wrong resistors" - you mean a resistor in HP adapter for fiber optic cable or other resistors?
