Yes, OEM toner. The printer has only done 47,000 prints, which is why I thought it might be a defective toner cartridge vs the developer? Xerox said it could be the high voltage power supply as the background is edge to edge. Located in Australia.

That is correct. We use a celloglaze machine to apply a thin laminate to 7760 prints (gloss or silk). I recommend a GBC Catena machine.

Hi, I think it is due to the toner - you will not get gloss output. I believe Xerox changed the toner with the Phaser 7760 to a matte toner to minimise roller marks on prints. We have the previous model Phaser 7750 and the toner produces more of a gloss finish, but can show roller marks.
