When ink mix with solvent will it increase the ink volume

Dear all,

Need some consultation here as i had been given a task to do ink reconciliation but never ever getting a healthy trends as the chart seems to be like roller coaster and the output generated also doesn't seems to be consistent. I have few questions seeking for answer

1) We are using weight to reconcile the ink usage but even printer not in activities the weight fluctuate, shall it because of the flushing?

2) Does the ink volume increase when solvent mix with ink?

you will have a higher volume of solvent diluted ink. You will NOT be able to print any more impressions up to full color. The only way to extend the mileage of an ink is to run less of it.
