Hi!

I have been out of the printing business for a few years and now looking to make a come back. I’m looking to do paper tinting/coloring to be converted to another product. We used to do it with process ink via sheet fed offset printing.

Anybody know or can suggest an alternative ink to use? Process inks can be really expensive here in the PH. Will ecosolvent inks work?

Hi
Eco-solvent inks are commonly used in large-format printing for outdoor signage and are designed for various materials, but they might not be the best choice for paper tinting. You might want to explore water-based inks, which are more environmentally friendly and can be cost-effective. Additionally, inquire about UV-curable inks, which are versatile and adhere well to different surfaces.

Before making a decision, consider the specific requirements of your paper tinting project and test the inks on a small scale to ensure compatibility with your intended materials. Local suppliers may also provide insights into cost-effective options available in the Philippines.
Good luck
