Ran conventional inks most of my career. Just recently started running LED. It seems LeD takes much longer to make ready. Inks take longer to achieve density. Is this normal?

UV inks can take longer to stabilize on press than conventional inks, but the problem can be mitigated by finding the right ink/fount compatibility.

The fountain solution is Critical.if it's dirty or old big problem.if tank temperature not right big problem.iwas running CD 74 they always ran non integrated. Also make sure the rollers are in good condition and stripes are good . the meter and pan should be cleaned every time you shut down after washing. If you have to much water on the ends the inking control will go crazy.minimum water minimum ink.

Ps I would strongly recommend not to reuse ink. If it's used it's abused
