I just purchased a used Ryobi 3200/AB Dick 9920. Tried to run my first job; plate inks up, but when I move the lever to put the image on the blanket nothing happens.
I also move the lever to impression and run sheets through and I get nothing. I even went so far as to smear some ink on the blanket and run some sheets through with the lever on impression and still nothing.
Am I missing something? Is this a problem anyone has come across?
Thanks.

first make sure the pressure dial is on 1 or 0 second make sure the impression is on/ the little white square buttons
are lit this means impression is selected try that good luck

He's got a 3200 so he doesn't have little white square buttons to hit. I think you hit it on the head with your first comment. Make sure the imp dial is set at 1 or even auto. If it's set to auto the impression pressure is set to the paper thickness by the spring pressure automatically. You should see something. If you don't pull the covers off and check all the linkage associatied with the "locking/latching" of the cylinders. Feed some sheets and watch to make sure everything locks up like it should. If you still don't get any image and everything is locking up check your blanket thickness. You should be running a 1.9mm thick blanket with a .6mm underblanket. Hopefully that helps, keep us posted on your progress.

dmblair is correct, there are no white buttons on the 3200. I have the pressure set on auto. But even before we get to the impression cylinder, shouldn't I be getting an image on the blanket when I pull the lever down to the fourth position?

Yes you should be getting an image in the fourth position. Actually if memory serves, it should be the third position will engage plate to blanket. Fourth will engage blanket to impression. Are you using the correct thickness blanket?

Need to take your side cover off and hand turn press while in impressing mode and watch the latch it shouldnt let off easy while on. There should be a set screw on it that can be loosened or tightened as needed. I use 5ply blanket on mine or .101 thickness
