There are many factors that make up a "good machine". The 3750 is older, I don't think it can be used on a network, which means no electronic files. 2 grand sounds high. I think I spent around a 1500 for a 390, which is capable of network printing. I've got one older than that 3750, it finally died, ran the daylights out of it.
