Problem with intermittent fault. Cut stops near BDC and error " cut circuit interupted" appears on screen. Cut cannot be restarted and machine has to be wound manually to top. Manual says Cut circuit interrupted, change SK card. Done this and fault returned. This fault is quite intermittent. Any thoughts appreciated

Yeah, this is quite annoying. Have you checked the switches over the cams? Probably you need to adjust or replace them. They become quite lazy after certain time (30 years)

You can also check the micro switch in the hand paddle

Hi sir:
The idea to replace the electronic board SK, is NOT was good idea.

Please i strong recommend you 3 Steps:
1) Test the regulated power supply of the machine Polar
+5 volts
+12 volts
+ 24 volts
in tolerance of 0.7% up or down very critical o.k

2) Adjust the limit switch in the cam plastic in the Gear, if you do NOT have some information, you must do it, by Proof and Error.

3) Look carefully the sensors or limit switchs for dirty or defective, replace it or repair from Safety Bolt, possible is Stuck by lack of LUBE, use My secret Graphic of rubber pencil...!!!. also,the solenoid of safety bolt, can be overheating( not burning) BUT defective to due the varnish of the winding. Replace it.
