Oki 941 and 942 Toner Level Problem

I recently purchased two used OKI printers, a 941 and a 942.

I am experiencing a strange issue on both machines when replacing the white toner.

When the new white toner is added, the brand new Magenta cartridge instantly went from reading 100% to 10%.

The same thing happened on BOTH machines. Genuine OKI toner.

What the heck could be causing this?

Hi. I see you are from NJ, I am from NJ as well, I am trying to trobleshoot OKI c931 and need a used drum, any color, preferably black, just to try and see if issue with drum or with the machine itself. If you have any used drums that were replaced with new and not discarded yet, can I buy one from you please?

how does the printer mark the toner levels? Let me explain:
MAX: 100% / MIN: 0%
now when the toner level drops it is marked 99%,98,97,96.....
or in increments of 5 / 10%?
100 / 95 /90 /85 ...
100 / 90 / 80 /70 /60% ...
???
