Need help - Docucolor 242 - Setting up Scan to Email

I have a Docucolor 242 and need help in setting up the scanner so that it will send the scanned images to an email address. I have tried several settings, but I am not having any luck. I can't find anything online about this either or in the manuals. Anyone have knowledge about setting this up?

Scan to email on the 242

Scan drivers permit scan to folder and network only. To get scan to email, their is a scan to pc desktop option that allows you to drag and drop into a smtp mail server app.

Go to Xerox.com and choose support and drivers. Put 242 in the search box. Choose your particular model and then put the word scan in the new search box. You'll get a list of pdf's and one of them will tell you how to set it all up.


If you have the choice of SMB instead of FTP take SMB instead.
