Foundation for DI press

One question about where you place your DI press. Should you have a 6-24" bed of solid concrete for the footprint of your DI? I live in a house built in the 1500's and the walls of my house are 1 meter thick, so I know that the foundation is at least that. Should I do anything further, or will I be ok? Also when installing the Heidelberg should compensate for any imperfections in the floor and have it level? Thanks, kristian.

It is recomended the floor should be no less than 6 inches thick for the QMDI. The pad size should be the entire footprint of the frame.

If your floor is 1 meter thick of cement, you should have no issues at all with vibration. You could put an XL105 on that floor.
