Ryobi 3404e DI Press Errors

I AM Print

Previous User
Hi guys,

Recently installed a used 34DI press for short run in house work.
After replacing the UPS batteries, the PC fired up and managed to play with the software a little bit.

Following issues would appreciate some help with:

1. Press is currently bringing back an error code of e-031. I went to section 2-28 of the manual, following the instructions to ensure paper feed drum and CD latches were engaged at the 510* mark on the timing plate. however, couldn't click to access Service Mode to continue with adjustments. If it is needed to set Encoder Point to 0, then again same issue, can't enter code to access Service Mode.
2. Message "Plate tension is loose. Take-up starts." is continuous. I believe this is blocking me from accessing service mode? This results also in not being able to access
3.Also press is constantly beeping, which I couldn't find an answer to in the manual.

Attached video of how press is responding, and couple of pics

Hi sir;

Try to reset the CPU or Microprocessor in the Motherboard, attached is there the Schematic , how to do it.

You must look in Internet the Pins schematic for his Microprocessor or CPU.

Before to do that; 1) test the power supply of Cpu or microprocessor, 2) Clock in Mgz.

    Hey,
    Had the print mechanic from Ryobi come out and toy with the press.
    Ended up finding these errors being produced by faulty feed sensor. Turned feed sensor off and faults cleared.

    Got it to the stage of imaging, see vid, only producing e-25 due to no water/glycol in chiller

    Hi sir;

    Turn the press until 720 degree, until you see the timing plate, so adjust to 0 degree

    in that way, you can adjust any sensors of the machine.
