DI Drying problems

We are currently using toyo king waterless inks on our presstech 34 DI and although they are running great, we are having some issues with drying, marking and scuffing. mostly on dull and matte coated stocks which I know can be tricky. I don't want to get in to having to constantly add dryers and such, but i really need to figure this out....we do have an infrared dryer and spray powder and still have been having issues.
Looking for some suggestions

Your densities could be high also check with your prepress if the total area coverage of sheet go above 280%

I agree with mantman. The ink densities are probably too high and the ink is over saturated. We like to keep our coverage at a maximum of 240% if we can achieve that. If we are printing a rich black we use the formula C=40 M=30 Y=30 K=100. I'm sure you've already checked this, but make sure your powder unit is actually spraying out powder. I've printed some pretty heavy coverage jobs, but never any offset with the powder and dryer. Also, make sure the dryer is set to a high enough temperature. I think we run it at about 96-98 degrees. Our press room averages at around 68-74 degrees and every 18 degree temperature increase in your dryer from your ambient room temperature will cut drying time in half. Simple but sometimes missed, check the infrared light bulbs, they do burn out & can be less functional over time too

Use cobalt in less proportion, this help to dry quickly..

I sell T & K Toka and used to sell the toyo and toka dries better we also can modify to have more rub resistance

Too expensive and not sell closed in any place... some things is necesary make rudimentary method that work great...
