I am printing a 4 over one on the DI using spot colors.
On the day of the beginning of this job the humidity level was through the roof.
Against my normal way of printing a job, I ran the 4 color light coverage side first to help eliminate registration issues with the paper warping the way it was that day.
The heavy coverage process blue back I ran the second day.
It all looked great and then in the cutting process the solid side gave a halo effect around the edges on the lighter side.
    The customer was not happy.
I tried a Matte varnish on the solid side as a test and it gas ghosted two hours later.
I have to produce this job on this stock.
My thoughts were to print the solid side first and add speedy dry dryer. (has anyone ever used this and what can you tell me or warn me about)?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
