Anyone using Sun Chemical Mx12

received info for this contained ink mixing system and in theory it sounds great. My concerns are the cost of the replacement ink cartridges and how much volume in PMS inks you have to run to make it worthwhile. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Jruff, the Mx12 is made by GFI Sun is a distributor as we are in theory the cost of the replacement tubes should be around the same as ink in 5lb cans maybe a slight upcharge because the tube is more expensive. I would say that you would need to purchase a minimum of 30K in spot colors to make worthwhile. That would get you a three year ROI. Depending on your volume we help our customers with some of the financing
