This belt comes in single piece, no need to join. Follow picture sequence by Adil, there locking screw beneath the belt and whole unit comes out.

Polar 78Xt is not booting. Display shows nothing. After power on the display is white which turns black gradually. Backgauge not moving and knife not moving. Main motor and blower runs. In CP board three green and 1 red led lights. Volts on power supply boards are ok, 24, 12, 5 DC. please suggest.

The motor commutator and brush may not have good contact because of oil and carbon dust. cleaning it will solve most of the time.

The filter is beside the D pump. Its at Y type Splitter. You unscrew the cap and take out filter, clean and it should be OK. Is the problem solved ? I had similar problem.

Which size is your machine? There are 2 sizes 10x15 and 13x18 and both have different saftey mechanism. 10x15 has saftey collar at back side below oil tank. 13x18 has saftey pin at right side of body. You can search for operator manual in internet.
