The prints are like that regardless of paper (matte or coated), but it works just fine on plain paper (book paper). and about humidity... hmm. our papers just sit around in our printing area, how do i know if they suck in humidity?

Thanks gluski, the test pages seem ok. I think i'll try calibration via colorwise when i get it to work :)
