Canon C1-Win7 compatibility

Is Canon C1 compatible to Win7?

We're about to upgrade our system software from vista to win7 and i was wondering if anyone knows if C1 (not C1+) is compatible with that OS. Even our Canon technician is not sure.

Which RIP do you have for your imagepress C1?

Are you installing 32-bit or 64-bit windows 7?

The straight imagepress c1 appears to include both 32-bit (which shouldn't be a problem using the same 32-bit drivers from vista, etc.) and 64-bit windows 7 print drivers available.

Hi xfactor, thanks for the reply.

We only have the T1 model RIP. as of now, we're just in the process of relocating our files on an external HD. we'll probably put this to a test in a month's time when we install win7.
