Xerox Phaser 7800gx Comaptiable Ink Toner

I have to order some more toner for our 7800gx. Is there any issues or color problems with these 3rd party inks?

What brand of 3rd party toner are you offering Robert? How long have you been selling it and is the color range measurably different than OEM toner?

Dan, did you order 3rd party inks for your 7800GX?

There are many brands out there - all with warranties but I found no first hand experience or unbiased reports. The xerox toner is a low melt toner so I think any compatible toner has to match this requirement but none of them say it. It is also not clear that the third party toners match the color gamut of the OEM Xerox toners...

We tried using 3rd party toner in our 7760. The problems we encountered were poor coverage on solids, didn't seem to stick to some sheets as well, and inaccurate colors. Other than that they worked fine.

It sounds like it is not worth the trouble... Xerox needs to make the toner for this printer more affordable. I guess this is how Xerox makes their larger production printers a better value - making their lower end but capable machines too expensive to use so they are used mostly for proofing purposes.
