Just recently when I print red onto glossy card or even adhesive labels, the toner will not adhere to the paper or card. It is absolutely fine when printing onto plain paper or even lightweight (150gsm) gloss.

After around 20-30 prints, the toner on the red areas eventually starts to stick and stays that way until the printer cools down.

I thought it may be the fuser, so I installed a brand new one, but has made absolutely no change. I also changed all 4 imaging units, but to no avail.

You can see this on the photo attached.

Has anyone else had this issue, or know what I can do to sort it?

    Thanks.

...Also I have changed the paper type settings accordingly - Extra Heavyweight Gloss etc. That doesn't solve the issue either.

perhaps try setting it to heavy or extra heavy card stock. That did it for the cards I was printing.

Have you been using a generic type magenta toner?
