sm74 vacuum belt vacuum

We’re not getting any vacuum at the belt, does the vacuum come from the main compressor? We’re getting plenty of vacuum from it and I thought that’s where it would come from. If that’s the case where is the actuator that allows the vacuum at the belt.

It will typically be the Ametek (aluminum body) blower located underside of feeder.

I see the blower you’re talking about, this is a blower. Does the air move across an opening or something in order to create the vacuum?

Okay that makes since, the blower isn’t coming on but the press will also not come up to speed. When we washed it up the speed does increase like it should. The central lubrication was acting wonky just before this happened, it had a low lubricant warning that was really caused by the filter being dirty as it was changed and the warning went away and the press had been running for a few hours then this.

Hello, I think you should upload some photos of the errors that the machine is showing. Regarding the blower , this blower is located on the impulse side of the feeder near where the feeder drive chains are. It could also be a card problem, I think in that machine it is LTK, I don't remember. If the speed does not increase, it could be a lubrication problem, but you should upload photos of the errors.

The motor for suction tape is located under the frame on the DS of the feeder.

Do you mean that the machine won't increase the speed, or the suction tape won't run as you increase the speed.
