Scorotrons

Hello all,

Does anybody knows what causes scorotrons problems? Is there any internal part that must be cleaned very well or some part need to be replace?

I've had to spread the pins on the nop side emd a bit sometimes to make good connection. Had to replace the end cap once also. Other than the corona wire, spool, plastic strip and grids they are pretty durable. What issues are you having? Normally the grids get cleaned and inside of the housing when you change the corona wire. I use IPA and windex and clean with a lint free wipe.

Hi, mainly I can here electric discharges notice and the I have an error SMS. Don't want to replace all the end cap or all the rear cap... or all scorotron.. just would like to know where is the problem and replace or clean that part.
