Hi Everyone!
I am new to the printing world. I have recently bought a digital printer to start off nice and slowly and have hit a brick wall.

Can anyone help me with the template/layout for business cards?
We currently use Photoshop and Illustrator for our designing and we need the template which allows us to have 21 business cards per page of SRA3 so we can send it to the machine.

Ialso want to know if there is a system that will allow us to open a customers PDF of a double sided business card and automatically insert the images onto that template.

I hope you guys can understand me. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Swift

Hi Swift,

Download cute.pdf it will allow you to n-up the biz cards, its a bit tricky at first but you can save the settings for use in the future. Hope this is some help..

  • Also use Cute PDF Pro here. It's a very affordable tool to have. You setup your sheet size, scaling original, number of columns and rows, number of copies, and then save it as a preset. Then when opening a pdf in the future, I check original page size, and if necessary resize page size with Cute PDF, then click Impose and select my preset and click - done. It's not fancy and I have had some stability issues with it and very large pdfs which will crash it, but for smaller documents, imposing postcards and business cards, etc. it's great and very affordable.

    Hi Jeff,
Do you know how to number using cute PDF Pro, i.e. number A6 tickets 1-500 that you are laying 8up on a page.
For the life of me I could never work out how to..
    Kind Regards,
    Griz
