iGen3 Free Flow Auto Color Quality won't run

Whenever I try to run auto color quality on the free flow I get "sensor has timed out". The curious thing is, there are no errors on the PSIP and I don't see any color issues on the prints so far. I just run auto color quality ever morning, but now it won't run at all. I've already tried rebooting several times. Suggestions?

you get that error on the FREEFLOW then nothing on the psip? thats seriously bizarre.

Broken serial cable adapter on the freeflow side.
