Heidelberg GTO 46+ (1 C) Vs Ryobi 3302 H

Plz if any one could tell me why a GTO 46+ single color (1980) is more expensive then a Ryobi 3302 H two colour?

Enough roller power to cover all page, page after page.
Very easy to use, too easy to use if kompac or similar installed
Landscape sheet, better 4 color registration

I have only GTO46 with kompac, and this is great press but slow for many color jobs.
3302H could be nice and cheap + veryvery interesting if kompac/crestline installed.

The 3302 will print just as good as the GTO it all depends on the operator. Easy to maintain and use. I have crestlines in mine works great but kompacs are nice too less rollers

First of all, the comparison is apples to oranges. A landscape machine will always lay ink better because of the obvious. The 3302H, although a very good machine, is still a duplicator-based machine. But I would argue that you would get better registration 4 times through compared to twice through.

These are two very different machines, and I have run both. If your looking for quality I would not get either of them and move straight to the SM52 or a Komori 1/2 size. If your just a basic printer sure the 3302 works, but it has limits. How easy is it for you to get part in your part of the world would be a big issue, some of the parts that I have needed for the ryobi take 4-6 weeks from Japan, where i have never had to wait more than a week for anything from Germany. I would say the GTO can print a better solid and it has better grippers to take it off the blanket, but the ryobi is a fast machine in make-ready and washes quick too. Also the ryobi is a 220v power wher the GTO is three phase, that is a big deal in small shops. Any way you look at it, there are alot machines out there for sale so make sure you get what fits your shop.

a 2 color will be better then one for sure , but will also cost more.
If you are looking for quality - the best would be the SM 52 , also better then the GTO and for sure better then the Ryobi.

If you have a tight budget , you can take a 2 color Komori - that will give you very good quality at a lower price - like a GTO

When looking for a press you need to figure out your buget, how much space you have for the machine. What are your needs that the machine does for you, are you doing black over black, or are you a process printer? Is the building equipted with three phase power, or are you limited to 220v single phase? All machines need parts, who will provide them and how easy or hard are they to get. Do you have to knock a hole in the wall to get it in, does the machine need a pad to sit on? I installed alots of presses and equipment over the years and alot of owner don't think of the working space around the machine and then scramble to fix the situation. Planning is the best thing to do. There are lots of presses for sale, make a smart purchase for the company. I installed a 4c Ryobi last year that fit the company because of power and footprint, it stepped up from their 2c and was a tight fit, would never get a GTO in the same space.

i agree with Meny, a sm52 or a pm52 would be a great choice. i run 4 color process all the time on a 2 color pm52 and it registers perfectly. i have run several 3302 and 3304 and while they are a good machine, i perfer the heidelberg. pm52's can be found for reletivly cheap. about 50,000 u.s. dollars

My budget is so tight about 15K€ (yeah, I know ... so poor man ) i found a very nice Ryobi 3302H with 10mil impression in very good condition
but when I asked for if can found an operator and parts some people in my area told me that will be hard to find.
And they advices me to buy an Heidelberg GTO single or 2 colors, but i looking for something easy and productive like 2 colors machine (220V).
What do you think about a Ryobi 3302H (1998) with 10 Mil Imp?

The 3302 H are good machines, small footprint and most of them are 220v. I like the factory damps on the "H" but you will need an operator that really understands how the damps work because the are similar to a large format press. Just remeber that if you do alot of black over black then you should focus on a GTO for them can also come in perfectors.
