Hi DI guys !
I installed all new ink form rollers (3pcs in each unit) and new ductor rollers (all from Botcher, incl. new bearings). But distribution rollers are still old (3 pcs in each unit). From time to time in some jobs i have problem with tonning.
This is visible on printed sheet as blended line which not appears regulary. First 100 sheets is all ok. Then 5-8 sheets have unvanted lines. After this is again all normal, after next 100 sheets again lines, etc.etc. I try different ink form rollers settings but without results. If i light ink form rollers to plate then problem almost gone but then i have problem that plate will not accept ink correctly.
Question: can be possible that problem may lay in distribution rollers because they are too old (small) and can not distribute ink properly. My rollers have 2,5mm smaller diameter (than new).
My press now have almost 25mil. imp. Ink form rollers are now 1 year old.
Distribution rollers made over 11 mil. imp. (maybe even more).
What do you think?
