Advice for Sourcing Good machines at cheap price

Hello friends,

We are looking for used 4-color with 28"x40" sheet printing with alcohol dampening for our trust.Right now we are using 2 color Fuji Machine.We always print on duplex coated or uncoated Boards.Our machine man prefers Heidelberg or Mitsubishi press. Our trust members have advised me to look for machines around 25 to 28K usd.Since we are doing charity work we cannot offord much.

we are scared of middlemen or dealers,since in the past we had lot of bad experiences.Please let me know how to start looking for it

you want a 4 color press 40" , a good one and for only 28000 USD ?

do not kid yourself - cheap has a reason !!!!

It is possible to buy a 4 color 40"working press for this price and even one that looks & prints well , but is it a GOOD PRESS ?

The answer is clearly NO

Hello sir.Sorry In India we get used 4 col ,40" Around ( 1985_90) for around 15 Lakh Indian Rupees
only.When we convert that to USD it is only that much.We Only print Packing materials for agri products.

I am also from India, I dont think we can get the mention machines in these rate. My advice that you can get a decent a machine for about 60 to 75 K usd.

cheap presses VS good presses

you are using 2 words that are the keys to the answer:

Cheap - this is relative , but the # of 25-28000 US$ is absolut

Good - this is in the eye of the beholder.

In western world eyes , a 28000 US$ 4 color 40" press is pure JUNK

If you want a press at this price , it is possible , but if you then request that it has automation . no damage , all parts and in excellent working condition , built by a good brand you can get parts & service for..... then if anyone tells you so it is a big lie !!!

You want a press at this budget that is 4 colors and 40" and capasble of putting ink on paper - that is possible , but it can NOT BE CALLED A GOOD PRESS as it is not so
