Hi. In theese days we have alot of jobs passing through our machine, we have upgraded the harddrives to some faster SSD discs. But is it possible to allow more than 99 printed jobs to be saved?

Are you sure the stock libary on the PSIP is exactly the same? just a little difference in media attributes could be the problem.

I dont know if chromoluxe is related to chromocard, but i have run chromocard problemfree, the only problem seems to be stacking which can cause some jams because of the coated side.. Genereally i think the Igen is very stable and able to "eat" most stocks, unless they are too thin or made of...

MarkD, it appears on our photoreceptor when we only run simplex silk stocks.. We see it on our nuvera100 aswell, wich does not use fuser fluid

Richman! That looks like a problem we are dealing with everyday, but only when running silk stock, xerox says it something in the paper wich gets on the PR belt. did you find a solution?

Well we had some probs with it aswell, we blew alot of air from a compresser under the glass plate to clear dust of the sensors, have you tried to rapidly open af close the transport at area 2? Helped me aswell

Yeah we have, but xerox says that theres alot of small parts wich might not fail now, but later on. They dont want to service a machine with this kind of damage. We have insurance, and we would rather fix it, tommorow we are having another meeting to find out whats going to happen

Just wanted to tell you guys that here in denmark we had some insane rain dropping down on the roof this weekend, at some pointvthe water started to run down in the pipe leading the heat away from the print engine on the roof.. The igen3 was turned off, but the water ran inside on the pr belt...

seems very wierd to me you have all that downtime, i run as operator on 2 igen3's and cannot recognize that picture. We do have a onsite tech aswell, but he doesnt uses very much time on urgent problems at the igen3's

Stiv, actually im not so familiar with the process, i just think the OS was reinstalled on the new discs after they where switched out. The upgrade was performed by a xerox system administrator, on behalf of our request.. We reload/reinstall the OS aprox each 3 month due to different issues...

We sometimes have problems with the jobs not proccessing enough images, it also requires a restart. To overcome the problems on long term we reload the freeflow completely, we have changed to larger SSD harddrives to increase performance.
