We have this happen on our 524, take a Qtip with MRC and clean the sensor before the press infeed rollers. Sensor should be located in the center in an open hole.

do you have the calibration sheet? They are roughly $150 dollars. Need to goto the pds option and calibrate. "white" should be flashing. then hold the button on the slide. repeat for the other colors. There is a density on the calibration sheet this should match.
