Currently running Canon Imagepress 8000 for color & VarioPrint 110 for B&W. We are experiencing a lot of down time on a monthly basis. Looking moving to Indigo press when our lease runs out.
Two main concerns I am coming up with, outside of the cost increase.

Do you need to run Indigo approved stocks only or any digital approved sheets?
Smaller Image area when compared to the 12.5 x 18.5 of toner press.

I am looking into the 5r or 7r options when we make the jump. Any insight would be helpful.

We went from Indigo to Canon 8000. I do miss the plastic and vinyl running well on the Indigo. And yes for the most part you want Indigo approved/ digital approved sheets.
