For sale is my lightly used Xerox Versant 180 Color Digital Production Press. It only has 44K impressions at the moment and I have been the only owner. It's basically a new press due to the light use. Though the Craigslist post provided below mentions I prefer local pickup, I'm in the process of...
Hello all. I have a Xerox Versant 180 that I'm in the process of selling, but I'm new to shipping via freight and need to do some learning quickly.
Can anybody recommend a good freight carrier who knows how to safely pack and transport digital presses? I'm located in Albuquerque, NM but...
Does anybody out there provide the elusive service of creating finished wrapped hard cases for use with Fastbind Booxter? I'm trying to lighten my load a bit with a new book I'm publishing.
Specifically what I'm looking for is the printing of the cover artwork I would provide, laminating it...
Hi. I've recently purchased a Booxter Zero Max from Fastbind but they are backordered for some unappealing amount of time.
If anybody here has one, and is willing to pack it and ship it, I'm interested.
Thanks.
For printing a dust jacket for a hard cover book, is dye ink or pigment ink better? I find this confusing based on what I've read. For example, dye inks are vulnerable to moisture and thus smudging. But pigment inks - though not as vulnerable to moisture - are more vulnerable to scratching...

I need a means of binding with a hard cover, but also (ideally) some sort of lay-flat technique. It doesn't have to literally be flat like some of the new...
I'm a novice also on the hunt for the binding method that's right for me. I'm looking for a lay-flat method for books with larger number of pages than photo books. But in my travels, I've come across Fastbind's FotoMount and Booxster. They aren't right for me, but they seem interesting for...
Responding to my own post...I wound up getting the Dahle 848 for a few reasons. They don't force their own stand on the customer, as does the Martin Yale 620RC. Also, there is service available for the Dahle products whereas not so much, or at least not as readily available, for Martin Yale.
Thanks in advance for your opinions here. I'm looking for a manual stack/ream cutter for a couple of reasons, including the inability to order paper without it being damaged. I exaggerate a little, but it's frustrating. So I want to order one size bigger and cut off dinged corners. For...
