Hi Friends,

Pls give me some advise about the printing quality and cost per page ( cpp) between Indigo and Offset press.

Thanks for your comment and advise
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy

Printing quality is "smiliar" I would say that Indigo prints is sellable as offset quality.
A good offset quality is better than the indigo and a bad offset quality is worse.
cpp for the indigo is constant variable and cpp for offset decreases the longer print runs you got.
It all depends on how long runs you got and if you need the capability to do variable!

Best regards
Morten

  • The print quality on the Indigo is just as good as any sheet fed presshttp://www.justpressprint.net. Just beware of the click charges they add up fast!
Not even Maybe is the print quality as good as offset!!! I agree that it is very good, but still a way to go as far as dot quality. I can say this with confidence as we have all new equiptment. We have a new Indigo which is our 2nd one, new Heidelberg XL105 New SM74. With skilled pressmen on all 3 machines. It depends on many different variables.
