xerox 700 ERROR CODE 124-315

    Machine has error message code 124-315 , keeps telling me to replace the toner cartridge. Tried reloading the firmware. no luck. Now been advised to change the motherboard. any one got a 700 mother board or any advice how to fix the problem...

    What mother board do you think you need because are so many.
    Do you follow the edoc procedure for 124-315 because this fault code has nothing to do with toner.
    I will send you some bulletins to make some checkings

    Run GP4 procedure and make sure IOT, SYS1 and SYS2 are equal and contain the correct serial number
