xerox 242

I have a xerox 242 I had paper jam now have error code 010-320 which I cannot remove any ideas

 

These machines if same error code comes up 3 times in a row lock themselves up and only way to clear it is by connecting it by Xeroxes special laptop with PWS software so there is a good cuance you're looking at placing a service call with Xerox. Sorry for expencive news.

 

What paper tray did you used for printing when you receive this error code ?

 

Change NVM 744 350 =>0

it isnt a paper jam.
It is a fuser temp issue.
There is an NVM listed above but if it continues i would get your building power checked. Or it is a fuser failure (rare though). There used to be a firmware update to solve this too. but i have always had success getting the building power checked (for brown outs)
