You need to get your monitors calibrated first. One of good equipment which we are using is COLORMUNKI at Ferozsons - Printing & Packaging Division - http://www.paperworldproducts.com.It should be the starting point for you to step into color managment.

I have a simple method on ebay, called "easy color". You run a test form, measure the dot area, make adjustments to the Y-M-C-K plates and re-print. Works for coated and uncoated to match an ISO proof. Complete instructions or call 412.889.7643 "Google me".
    I also have a X-rite 528 Spectro for sale $2500.00 X-rite 418 for $350 X-rite 404 for $200
