Hi,
Now it is clear. There are two faults which are more important than the others, overflow intermediate tank and water level Max-D cycle. As long as the first error "overflow...." is appearing, circulating pump is switched OFF to avoid dampening solution overflows from intermediate tank on the floor. So, cooling process will also interrupted and dampening solution will not cooled down any more.
And then about second error"water level...", while this error is appearing, unit will not suck no more IPA since it means the level of dampening solution inside the main tank has been reached to MAX. Check the level, it should be under first floating sensor. And then check if the sensor is looking clean or not broken working properly.
Good luck,
Hello Matthew,
I saw your reply to the above post regarding problems with a TECHNOTRANS issue and I read in the post that you are quite experienced with the finer details of the workings of TECHNOTRANS and ACLOSMART.
We have a Heidelberg SM102-10-P5 equipped with TECHNOTRANS Beta C. The unit has an ALCOSMART AZR CANopen unit which controls the alcohol dosing.
Everything was working fine up until this afternoon - alcohol dosing was set at 10% and the unit was working perfectly. We had a power failure this afternoon and when the power came back on an we restarted the press, the AlcoSmart unit display was showing Warning 01 and it was no longer displaying the alcohol reading.
Our operator, after seeing this error, assumed that the unit was no longer dosing the tank with alcohol and he added alcohol manually to the main tank!
When I got to the press later, he complained that the dosing was not working. On restarting the AlcoSmart unit, I noticed that the reading on the display was showing 12.8% Alcohol. I added more water and fountain solution to the tank and eventually the reading dropped back down to 10%.
Unfortunately, we are still getting the following:
"Warning 01"
" Error 04"
I don't think the Alcosmart is dosing the tank with alcohol at this point. When I restart the Alcosmart unit, it gives me an alcohol reading for a few minutes and then it starts showing "Warning 01" and "ERROR 04" as shown in the attached video clips - no alcohol reading appears.
Please can you assist in diagnosing what is causing this WARNING 01 and the ERROR 04
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Shawn
