    Hello!

We are running a 2007 SM 74 PHL.

Recently there was a leak from the refrigerant tank of the chiller and there was low pressure warning on the display of the beta.c fault messages with the following error : F094 low pressure of compressor. The exhaust fans on top and the compressor stopped working.
We identified the leak area and closed it by welding and upon refilling the refrigerant with R407C with about 5.2kgs (stated weight on the plate of the body is 7.2kgs), the following fault message started showing up : F092 High pressure of compressor 1. The exhaust fans are working but the compressor is still now working.

We pressed the red high pressure reset switch located next to the refrigerant tank but it did not work.

    Any solutions to this ?

    Hello,

When you push the reset button, does the error go away and the compressor starts for a second? Because it seems like from your description that the error is continuously there, may be the switch itself is defective or not connected properly, an LP error fix should not lead to this condition in my opinion.

Hello, When the LP fault was there, there was actually no refrigerant in the tank and when we filled it up, it is showing high pressure. We got someone to check the electricals but did not seem to find any fault.

When we press the reset button, nothing happens!

For R407C the high pressure switch responds at 25 to 27 bar can someone measure the pressure and confirm if the refrigerant is not overcharged?

We vaccuumed all the air out and refilled it again and it's been working normally since then!

Air inside the system can lead to high pressure issues so that makes sense.

Over the years I have had many technotrans issues....most of the compressor issues seem to start with the screen filter and or the heat exchanger in the unit....resulting in back flushing the system and on a worst case replacement of the the compressor and heat exchanger due to sediment buildup....but nothing can fix a leak other than a obvious repair
