Hi. Any body got an answer to back gauge not advancing after a cut, it does not advance the cut position on screen either.

The machine has some error , after the backgauge NOT advance?

If does NOT have error, please measure

1) +5vdc for backgauge processor board 40-320
2) if the Regulated power supply +5Vdc are there in Tolerance 0.7% up or down, proceed
3) proceed with the Power board 40-5020 if the contactors; K01 +K02+K03+K04 are working with +24Vdc.
4) look for loose wires, corroded, broken, connectors, loose, dirty, and tight every wires in that section.
5) look, if the contactors mentioned before are o.k, or are faulty, for dirty, coil damage, loose damage, or bad situation, and finally measure
the phases in the INPUT of backagauge motor if there, coming from the contactors (back or advance,etc):

Please see the home up position off the knife or see the padel switch is come to reset position
