Ryobi 524 GX 2004y. Standard problems

1) Air system: The anti-setting powder clogs the silencers of the pneumatic distributors and the non-return valves of the semi-automatic mold changer.
We change the mufflers, take the compressor as far as possible from the paper feeder.
2) Doubling: Crushing when printing on 4-5-6 colors. Or the grips of the transfer cylinder or the oil supply pipes to the bearings of the offset cylinders are broken.
The mobility of the grips is easy to check with a flat screwdriver. Oil pipes by inspection of the drive side. When the bearing is already bad but it has not jammed, print from one plate on every second section (1-4, 2-4, 1-3, 2-3, and so on), you will immediately see which offset cylinder is dying with the bearing.
3) Colorful zones: Gearmotors often fail.
Replacing a defective motor. Installing the reducer in place with the alignment of the control hole. Removing the gate for cleaning from paint and grease. Motors, like lemmings, commit suicide in large numbers, a stock of 10 pieces is relevant.
4) Sheet Feed Suction Cups: Cycle Escape, Late/Unstable Feed.
Feed head drive chains jammed/stretched, rust in propeller shaft. We replace worn chains, the cardan can be washed and lubricated.

In general, the printing machine is very reliable. Requires good service, lubrication and attention to detail.
