Ryobi 3404DI parts

We have a Ryobi 3404DI running very succesfully for the last 8 years. Yesterday, after making a big noise (it was not working, just when we swithed it on in the morning). The machine stopped and we tried to swith it on again, but even if we succeed, the machine does the recording of the plates. The techincal staff believes that the Power Source- 535461773 piece is damaged and need to be replaced. The cost is about 4.000€or $3700. Has anyone had this problem?. How did you manage it?.

Sorry, you are out of luck

Part no: 535461773 is the old lunch box type of powersupply - hard to impossible to repair
Take the powersupply to a electrical repair shop and see what they have to say.

If it's not repairable I have a used unit you can buy.

At the end we were able to repair the part and the machine is again running since yesterday afternoon. Anyway it is a problem the issue of spare parts for this machine. If anyone knows a supplier of parts or where to buy parts for future repairs would be very grateful.
