Can one run one-color jobs on a Ryobi 3302 as easily as on a one color press?

    absolutely.

you certainly can you will want to run some sort of roller lube in the unused head to reduce friction and heat on the uninked rollers. I use hurst off duty

I normally pull idler and ocillator rollers from the non printing unit. If you do so, make sure to leave it in nightlatch, and you know that you have the right rollers out if you inch the press and the forms dont move. The press manual should list the rollers to remove.

Squirt oil on the rollers of the unit you are not using. They MUST have lube on them.

Oil is not a good idea, I would use roller lube which is made for roller lubrication, straight oil can cause a number of problems including breakdown of the rubber rollers, some hydraulic oils are also caustic...

Yeah, roller lube is a designated product so it should be the best choice, only thing - it has to be washed up before inking that tower so if you don't feel like it, pull few rollers out as stated in previous posts.

We would run a small amount of transparent white on the non printing head to lubricate rollers and to help pull out old ink so our next color job was the proper pms color.
