Roland 200 - Registration Problem

Hello everyone,

I have been facing an issue with the registration on the Roland 200 machine (2-PUs). The problem is with one set of the grippers on the first cylinder. Its only with the first unit.

What happens is that the print on the first sheet and the second sheet are off by around 1 mm.

I adjusted the eccentric bolt on the side of the cylinder to compensate the difference but there is still a difference of around 0.5 mm and the bolt is already rotated to the maximum position.

Another thing I noticed is the grippers seem to apply pressure on the blanket, you can see marks on the blanket. I am not sure what the problem could be or what to check in order to fix the issue, but some guidance might help.

I think you need to change the pads of impression grippers

 

I have changed the pads with new ones but the issue still persists. It didn't make any difference.

Any other suggestions?

 

You changed both impression cylinder pads or just one? -its a miracle it could print!-

 

Yes I did! The result didnt change (everything is a miracle with this machine)
