If someone has an Epson 7600/9600 or has used one before, I'd really appreciate some guidance on setting mine up to start printing flyers/posters/brochures.
Mainly, I need to know if I can get good results with just standard gloss paper. I'd like to print color-poster-type flyers that may be posted outdoors but don't need to keep for more than 2 months. Does brand really matter in this case or will any type of paper do (I was going to get some generic HP gloss paper)? And what kind of ink should I get?
The kind of designs I'd be printing would be similar to gig posters you might see for larger concerts, e.g.:
If anyone has a recommendation for decent ink/paper that's decently priced, please let me know.
Also, is there anything else I need to buy or be aware of when starting up a printer that has just been gathering dust for the past 5 years?
