R700 ACT number disappears

This number will disappear after rebooting, and I can’t remember the number of sheets printed before.
anyone know how to fix this？

Reset the CPU or microprocessor in the Motherboard however measure ( Vcc in the CPU in tolerance + Clock in Mhz with Frecuency meter or DMM or oscilloscope, otherwise if one of them are faulty the Reset will NOT work with the same problem., and test the small battery Lithium for 3.6Vdc, if is lower replace, only have 10 minutes for replace, otherwise you will lost the tech information.

Thanks for your reply.When something went wrong, I already replaced the battery, but it didn’t work.

 

It would be nice if we knew the series or at least the year of manufacture of the machine. The older ones have a Dalas chip.

However in some cases, in the Motherboard, where the CPU or Microprocessor is located, there are Small button Black(Reset), you must take the same process before to do it( test the Vcc +Clock

In the beginning,ACT number sometimes can remember, sometimes can’t remember.I changed the battery at that time.
But recently, it is completely impossible to remember, as long as the machine is restarted, the number of sheets printed before will be reset to zero.

YES, total counter is correct

 

Is the one on the right the one to reset?

 

Where do You read as i did indicated Sir, AND look LEDs, AND Number of uP( microprocessor) or CPU #80188.
