QMDI PRO - Delivery Clutch Error

    Hi Guys,

    I am purchasing a non-running QMDI Pro from a print shop that has run the press with much success up until this error occurred - please see attached picture.

    The owner sent me the following message together with the picture showing the error:

    "The Operator was having issues imaging the cyan plate - sounds like software issue
    We had our guy look at it and confirmed it wasn’t mechanical"

    The present owner is not prepared to spend any money on the press to fix the issue and so they are selling the press as is - non running. The press however looks in very good condition and I would like to get the press running again.

    Could anyone out there advise as to what you think the problem may be?
    Do you think it is software related or is it a mechanical fault?

    Any advice on the issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, you would have to get into service level and reset the delivery clutch. I would have to look at what degree settings and switch states it would have to be at when doing this.
